Monday Motivation 6.10

What a great weekend! Had so much unexpected fun. I was in super-work mode last week and had trouble turning my brain off Friday night. J and I were going to head into the office on Saturday, but got detoured by a last minute X-games invite and a wine tasting trip. So J headed off for a VIP day at X-games and I went with the girls for a little wine tasting out in Florence.wine tastingAnd Sunday J and I had the chance to go back out to X-games and we had a great time! Needless to say, not much work got accomplished. But I am totally fine with it because I haven’t had a weekend sans work in a long time! It was important for me to put work aside for a minute, enjoy time with friends and just relax. As I move into another work week it’s important for me to remember to set little, daily attainable goals. I tend to stress myself thinking about the laundry list of things I have to do and then I end up getting nothing done because it causes me so much anxiety. So little goals throughout the day makes it so much more manageable. So bring it on Monday!

How did you like the Florence winery? I’m in Austin as well and travel to Becker in Fredricksburg about once a month. Maybe I should branch out a bit and explore!

It was fun. It’s very small and pretty isolated it’s just the winery and a small cafe. But it was beautiful out the back with a pretty patio, big trees and lots of places to sit and drink! It was really nice to get away and just relax and enjoy company! :D I like both for different reasons. I’ll be doing a wine tour around Fredricksburg in a few weeks though ;)
